MISSION:

Who we are: G2G Missions is a non-profit organization that partners with the local church to raise up followers of Christ who develop thriving, sustainable communities in Nicaragua.

VISION:

Our vision is for Nicaraguans to be transformed by the Gospel so that the generational cycles of spiritual, relational, and physical poverty might be broken, empowering them to live as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.

VALUES:

• Dependency on God (2 Corinthians 3:4-6, John 6:65, Philippians 2:13)
  It is God who saves. He is the One who transforms. We are His instruments. We look to the power of God, the moving of the Holy Spirit and prayer to bring about transformation.

• Centrality of the Church (1 Cor 12:12-25, Colossians 1:17-20, 1 Timothy 3:15) 
  We seek to honor God’s design for Christian worship, truth and community, which is the church. We believe the local church is the primary change agent for communities. Our ministry prioritizes partnership with local church bodies.

• Holistic Missions (John 4)
  We believe sustainable transformation of individuals and communities must address all aspects of poverty together. Following Christ’s model, we approach missions holistically, encompassing spiritual, relational, and physical poverty.

• Locally sustained ministry model (1&2 Corinthians, Ephesians, 1&2 Thess.)
  While missionaries can be great catalysts for change in individuals and communities, native people will be most effective in reaching their culture long term. Locally led ministries empower Christians to be more culturally relevant and biblically sensitive.

• Mobilize Christians for Missions (Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15)
  All Christians are called to join God’s mission to make disciples of all nations. We desire to encourage this calling and foster Christian growth through various means, such as short term trip experiences, internships, strategic partnerships, etc.
